Overview

Maybe you've had training plans for other sports and you are new to skiing.  Or you just want to have a structured approach to fitness on skis.  Or you're an experienced skier and probably a racer.  You want to get fitter and faster.  You want to do better at the Birke or other marathon events this Winter.  The plan will be structured so it applies to whatever level your current fitness is at.  The difference between casual and serious (beginner and advanced) will be intensity and duration and rest and will be clearly spelled out.     Cost will be $75

"Making the most of your time on Skis"

Includes weekly training outlines from the first week in October to the Birkie, ski specific workouts, strength and technique drills.  Focusing  on a peak for late winter marathons if you're racing or just improving your fitness by the end of Winter. One weekly personal email/phone call for help if needed. Updated with monthly Q/A sessions to revise as necessary.  An e-mail group will be provided so you can talk and discuss the plans with fellow members and the head coach.

"Quality vs. Quantity...more isn't always better"

Optional blood lactate test to determine accurate training zones.
Additional  $100  (minimum need for this price 8 or more, otherwise,
$150, normally $200)

Note from Ben on commitment required (Ben Popp of Endurance Athlete)  Also an instructor for Ride and Glide

"The  Plan requires as much time as you want to give it. It will be presented to the group once a month (e-mail/online and in person at a place TBD) , the whys, the hows etc, then the rest is up to you the skier.  I rate each workout 1-6 in order of priority so if you end up only workout once,  you should do the 1 , not what happens to be on that given day.  To improve, it only requires 3-4 consistent, QUALITY workouts a weekwell, really one can do as much or as little as they want.I make it clear, the more consistent, quality work one does, the better one gets"
